jQuery Mod of Colorbox Lightbox script (extension)

Seeking to create a simple extension for [url removed, login to view] (colorbox lightbox). Must use chained/extension commands, and not modify existing JS.

Currently, when a slideshow feature is used from colorbox (click fade transition here -- [url removed, login to view]) it loads images as specified in the HTML to create a very simple slideshow.

What I would like to do is:

1. adjust colorbox CSS/jQuery code as necessary to be able to use the attached [url removed, login to view] file as the main content for the lightbox popup. colorbox already supports an inline HTML option, but this is not what I want* see below.

2. under #popupnavigation, I would like the number of entries there (and the actual number) to reflect how many images are loaded in that group. for example, for a 3 image slideshow, only 1, 2, 3 would appear (with class="active" for currently selected image).

each 1,2,3,4 etc. would be linked to the correct image, and would work just like the colorbox demo to transition between images. (this is why inline HTML option/ajax will not work).

3. be able to modify content in #popupdescription and #popupprice for each image. could be tied into the "rel=" tag or defined within the extension.

This should be a relatively straightforward task for a good jquery developer. Please make sure you understand all project details before bidding. Thank you.
