I am having trouble with a CSS hover effect. I have an image of a world map. When you hover over different regions, the region lights up and displays an image of a box with text over the map. The image of the box extends over the hover block. The problem is that as you hover over each region, you are unable to then hover over another region when the displayed box is covering it. You have to move your mouse out of the map entirely and then to the next region for it to work. This makes the effect look choppy, and is worse in IE than it is in Firefox.
I have attached a ZIP file where you can see exactly what I am talking about. Once extracted, simply open the HTML file and try hovering over the different regions. The CSS is included ([url removed, login to view]), so you can look at everything as it is now. Just scroll down to .global-panel. Please do not bid if you do not know how to correct this. Thank you.
