Hello! My name is Jamon and I am an entry level programmer attending Hudson County Community college in New Jersey. I work on projects by myself for fun to gain experience and I wish to work with any other entry level or professional coder to build a security client application for Windows using the JavaFX framework and Java programming language. I’ll be honest I’m quite sure that I’m nowhere near an excellent programmer and so I wish to make this project a hands-on kind of learning experience for me. I’m looking for someone who is willing to work while teaching at the same time through a conference platform. I would like to have the project hosted through GitHub if possible and I am willing to pay $600 to any open person to this job. The project will be fairly simple nothing complex and it will be an amazing opportunity for you to expand on your teaching/leadership skills. The project information is listed below:
- Project Name: INFINITY Security Client
- Project Language(s): Java, JavaFX framework, XML (FXML), SQL, MySQL
- Project Purpose: Security client that can be applied to any target application that requires login information. (Target application will be set in the code)
- Project Details: I'm looking to develop a login client that opens a secured target application after a successful login. Login data will be stored in a database and will be requested when verifying a login request. As of now I have already designed the applications user interface through SceneBuilder which has all the necessary fields and I've designed a functioning version however, I'm interested in seeing another programmers take on the program and what different tactics and methods are used. As I've mentioned above this is meant to be a learning experience more than completing a project and I'm estimating the project will be no longer than 5 days. I would like to do 3 hour tutoring sessions (until project completion or 5 day max)
I know this listing is a little different from what you typically see, but as I've said if you're willing to do the tutoring then feel free to reach out for the position. I've been coding for 5 years and I'm fairly knowledgeable when it comes to the concept of object oriented programming. I'm a really fast learner and I'd like to learn from someone who programs professionally.
