Caching images in Java
Budjetti $10-30 USD
The server receives the request for fetching images from another URL (which has images). Right now I'm planning instead of fetching the images each time from another URL, and I'm planning to create caching in the Java project which stores all images. When the new request comes in for the server, first we have to check the cache for the requested image and then send them back as a response without connecting to the external URL. If the request needs a new image other than the cache images, it has to fetch the image from external URL into the cache and then send the cache image as a response.
you can use LRU cache and hashmap to resolve this.
1. First, we have to check the cache
2. If no image in the cache we have to fetch into the cache and then send it to back as a response to the request.

I think better approach would be storing the file into local directory and caching its path. As caching of image is possible but why stuffing RAM (if caching) or JVM heap (if storing in HashMap) . Better would Lisää
