Hello. I have a FrontPage message board running on Windows 2000 server. There is a posting page on the site that allows anyone to post messages. There are some people who post spam on the message boards. I can not block these people with a firewall because the IP address they use is through an anonymous IP proxy. I want to add some basic code to the posting page so the REAL IP address is submitted with the form. This way I can block these people at the firewall. I understand a simple JAVA code might be able to do this. The IP address must be submitted with the FrontPage posting form. I am looking for as simple as possible and low cost since this site is just something I run for free. Again, the REAL IP address must be submitted with the FrontPage form. The results of the FrontPage form, (IP, name, message subject, message text, date, time) are posted to the message page by FrontPage. The IP address should be the PUBLIC IP address that the person is using, not their IP from behind their router. Message page: [url removed, login to view] Posting page: [url removed, login to view] Please DO NOT post messages to see how the page works. The URL is provided just so you can see the FrontPage setup. Thanks.
