I am looking for a Java/HTML-saavy programmer to write a Java applet which is to be customized to include various GUI fields into which the user must enter their inputs. The applet must be easily integrable into an existing webpage such as [login to view URL] so a website viewer can simple point and click to open this stand-alone applet.
The GUI user inputs feed into an algorithm inherent to the appley and at the bottom of the applet will be various applet outputs for the user to view, which are a function of the inputs and numerous constants built into the algorithm, not available for viewing by user. (think along the lines of the Mortgage Calculator in below link)
Another key feature of this applet is the ability to take one key user input "A", enter A this into an existing public website, retrieve results of public website and feed back into applet algorithm to produce outputs.
The user must be able to print reports of their inputs and outputs and identify incomplete or errant user inputs. I do not believe a database is required as long as printing is available.
I am looking for a hired programmer to construct to a "template" applet so I can then easily then fine-tune/add to the field titles and algorithm.
The intention of this applet will eventually help folks make educated real estate decisions.
