I am looking to have an i-phone app programmed for the 3Gs
I utilize call forwarding quite a bit because AT&T sucks at my house, my office, etc. So when I get to where I'm going, I immediately transfer my phone to whatever phone number is near by.
It's a pain to go through settings, phone, forwarding, etc...
I'm looking for an app that I can put on the home bar that when activated will allow me to pick a profile to use (configured within the application) and to set the phone's forwarding to the phone number listed in the profile. Going in the app should tell me what profile is active if there is a forwarding profile active.
Should display a profile name, not a phone number. And should save them for future use. A simple click on the displayed profile would initiate the forwarding.
another possible feature would be that once the at&t signal came into range again with any strenth -- a pop-up would ask me if I want to disable call forwarding.
this application is for my personal use, but I require all source, etc to be given to me, and I reserve all rights to the application.
Also -- if it was possible a geo location attached to each forwarding number as an option, and if you approach the location with x feet (not sure how distance is calculated with GPS/G3), the application would optionally automatically trigger the forwarding to that profile. play a ring tone announcing the forwarding has taken place.
The same should be done when leaving a profile's geo-location to turn off call forwarding.
