iOS Application Update / Swift Version Migration

We have a Swift 3 iOS application that has not had any updates in ~5 years. As a result, we are not able to build or update the project in the latest version of XCode. We need the application to be updated to build against the latest Swift and iOS versions.
Project will be managed via Basecamp, version control through Bitbucket.
The project is a simple client application for a GPS Tracking platform. Attached is a screenshot showing the number of files in the project.
