Hi there, my name is Carlo. I'm a graphic designer and front-end developer for Twister. We are an innovation company that specializes in Cannabis & Hemp production of trimmers.
I am looking to hopefully find a developer that could help me put together the function to scan our custom designed target images using Google Lens that works on both iOS and Android that will be referencing YouTube videos inside a container. These target images will be placed on brochures, posters, rack cards, magazine and perhaps t-shirts.
I have spoken to many developers but most are only capable of building a separate app for us to integrate that functionality. We are currently not interested on building our own app yet. Ultimately, the goal is to have it work strictly using Google Lens. You may ask, "Why Google Lens?". My thinking was Google Lens works on both iOS and Android plus Google applications doesn't sound too sketchy to direct someone to download the app. In addition, AR Kit (correct me if I'm wrong) will only be restricted in iOS so we'll miss the opportunity for Android users.
There will be 7 product brochures (I have attached a sample of our tri-fold brochure). Each brochure will be referencing their own YouTube video. Each video will play inside the container of the target image and will not span across the brochure. I am open to discussing if there are other methods that will enable faster load times of the video and faster detection of the target image.
Looking forward to hearing from you and bringing this idea to life!
