Job Description:
Descendants of Earth is a novel mobile game where players take real environmental action in their home and community and when they do it changes Earth’s future. We seek a Victorian-based senior game developer to assist us in a mentoring role meeting on a fortnightly basis over a period of 12 weeks during our current pre-production phase of development.
The aim of these fortnightly meetings is to have oversight as we plan out each step of development, focusing on game design, system architecture and layout, as well as code reviews to ensure we have a strong framework to build additional features upon. This mentoring will help us build up our in-house programming capacity under the oversight of an experienced professional. We also aim to make our architecture and design more efficient to speed up the programming time and help to avoid pitfalls.
Although this is a short contract, it comes with a likely renewal at the next stage of development assuming contract responsibilities are met.

Requirements:
Based in Victoria, Australia (though working from home is completely fine)
5+ years in game development
Successful development and release of mobile games
