On-Site Restaurant Bookkeeping (Karachi DHA Phase 5, 14-days)

Freelance Bookkeeper / Accounting Needed – Restaurant (In Person- Karachi, DHA Phase 5) We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented freelance bookkeeper/Accounting supporter to support a small, dhaba-style restaurant in Karachi (DHA Phase 5) for a 14-day project requiring daily on-site visits. Scope of Work: - Maintain accurate daily records of sales, expenses, and cash flow - Reconcile daily sales with cash on hand - Verify that physical inventory (ingredients, supplies) matches recorded usage and sales - Identify potential discrepancies in stock, wastage, or missing items - Ensure proper tracking of purchases, supplier payments, and receipts - Implement basic systems for accountability and financial transparency (ex: carbon copy receipts) - Flag any inconsistencies, leakages, or potential loss of revenue - Provide a clear summary of findings and recommendations at the end of the engagement Ideal Candidate: - This is NOT a remote job; MUST be able to come in person to DHA Phase 5 Karachi - Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial oversight (restaurant/retail experience preferred) - Strong attention to detail and integrity in handling cash and records - Familiarity with inventory tracking and reconciliation processes - Ability to work independently and be physically present on-site daily - Comfortable working in a small, fast-paced food business environment Engagement Details: Duration: 14 days Commitment: Daily on-site visits required Location: DHA Phase 5, Karachi Deliverable: Organized financial records + end-of-project report highlighting issues and improvements Please share a brief profile, relevant experience (especially in accounting and/or food or retail businesses), and examples of similar work if available.
