I am currently seeking a skilled SEO Account Manager or SEO Specialist to join the team on a contractual basis for 3 months, with the potential for a longer-term engagement. If you have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on SEO experience, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with clients, this could be the perfect fit for you. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a solid understanding of SEO theory and have a few years of experience performing SEO tasks. While advanced expertise is not a requirement, this role presents a fantastic opportunity for individuals transitioning from agency environments and embarking on their freelance journey. As SEO Account Manager/Specialist, your tasks may include:
- Managing client's content pipeline - Collaborating with copywriters, editors, and developers using Asana to ensure smooth content creation and publication process.
- Conducting basic SEO tasks, including keyword research, optimising meta tags, and analysing website performance.
- Updating Google Data Studio/Looker Studio reports to track SEO progress and provide insights to clients.
- Answering basic client inquiries, addressing their concerns, and providing timely updates on project progress.
Briefing developers on user experience (UX) improvements to enhance overall SEO performance.
To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of SEO, preferably in an agency or client-facing environment.
- An understanding SEO best practices, including technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and link building strategies.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, both written and verbal, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, capable of managing multiple client projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Asana would be advantageous.
- Willingness to learn
