The purpose of this project is to ultimately find an active agent to promote a clients career as a performing artist. There are plenty of agencies that can facilitate this need. The role of the project winner will be to coordinate with these agencies in the initial phases of the agent/client relationship. Simply put, your goal is to find an agent who is willing to work with a client. This can be someone who can definitely contract my services out during a period of time. Compensation will be given upon the explicit agreement between the agency and my self (the client).
The Ideal Agency:
The agency that is sought after should deal primarily with DJ’s who perform at events, nightclubs, and festivals. These events can take place worldwide. The agency should be able to take a percentage of a wage earned by the client. In a situation the contractor (project winner) should be willing to negotiate a percentage of the wage between 8% and 15%. The ideal percentage rate would be 8% of an earned performance or payout from a performance. This percentage would be pay for the agency and would depend on the amount of work distributed by the agency. The agency would have to be hands on in planning and communication keeping an open line of interaction at all times.
The project will consist of the hired contractor actively contacting agencies until an appropriate agent/agency is hired that is approved by the client. This agency will have to have a confirmed contract signed with the client in order to fully pay the contractor. The time frame for this project will be no more than 60 days and the client will pay the contractor after the contract has been officially signed. The contractor will be given information about the client and expected to promote the client to prospective agents in the hopes that the agents will have placement for the client. A prospective client list will be provided and clients will have access to a private email account specifically for the project.

Have verifiable past experience in marketing/sales
To organize information and report detailed progress on a weekly basis
Create Professional Promotional materials for the client
Organizational skills, ability to set priorities and meet challenging deadlines.
Self-directed individual with initiative, analytical and problem solving skills.
Verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills.
Experience in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Five years experience leading in a creative musical environment
Strong knowledge of the music industry
