I’m putting together a cosy rustic-style mini bar that flows from an indoor counter and wash-room into a small outdoor space built for entertainment. The job is to translate this vision into a clear design package I can hand straight to my contractor. Indoor zone • Layout needs to include a compact wash-room plus a functional bar counter that matches the overall rustic look—think natural timbers, textured finishes and warm, ambient lighting. • The counter must comfortably service guests moving between inside and outside. I’m open to practical built-ins such as wine storage or a fridge if you believe they’ll enhance use of the space. Outdoor zone • This area is for entertainment, so seating, lighting and weather-friendly materials are crucial. The style should continue the same rustic character while feeling distinctly open-air. What I need from you 1. Scaled floor plan showing wash-room, bar counter and outdoor entertainment area. 2. 3D visualisations or rendered perspectives that capture materials, colours and lighting. 3. A concise materials and fixtures list so I can source everything locally. 4. Any construction notes that help the builder understand levels, joinery details or service points. I know how to work properly with commercial spaces so that they work for you, not against you. I understand how to arrange ergonomics to make everything as functional as possible. For example, the bar can be designed with a clear workflow: correct counter height, convenient passage for the bartender, built-in refrigerators and storage within easy reach, sequence of washing–preparation–serving without unnecessary movements, which saves the bartender’s time and ensures guests receive their orders faster. The restroom can be compact, with proper ventilation and a door positioned so it doesn’t interfere with guest flow. I know how to make a space truly inviting and cozy. I understand the style you want, and it’s close to my taste as well. I love using natural materials. Together, we can create a new place of attraction in Sri Lanka, something unique.
