I need a fully interactive VR UNITY training room that lets a ship mechanic practice engine-maintenance scenarios from start to finish. The focus is on engine repair only, but with the highest level of interaction—every bolt, gasket and tool must be grabbable so the user can perform a complete disassembly and reassembly of the ship’s main engine. Inside the virtual engine room the trainee should: • Walk around the engine, inspect components up close and pick up tools naturally (hand-tracked controllers). • Unscrew, detach and lay out individual parts in logical sequence, then rebuild the engine step-by-step. • Receive contextual cues or torque values when required and instant feedback if a step is skipped or parts are re-installed incorrectly. • Reset the scene at any time to its initial state for repeated practice. I’ll supply any reference drawings, photo textures or part lists I have. You’ll build the 3D engine model (to realistic scale), implement physics-based interactions and package everything into a standalone VR scene that runs smoothly on current consumer headsets. Source project files, an installable build and a brief user guide complete the hand-off. Acceptance criteria 1. Every major engine component can be removed and re-attached in the correct order without clipping or physics errors. 2. Visual or audio confirmation appears when each step is completed accurately. 3. Full reassembly returns the engine to an operational state and triggers a “task complete” message.

Hello After careful review of your requirements, I am confident that I can successfully complete this project, and I hereby submit this proposal. I understand that your objective is to develop an interactive ship mechanic in Unity, ensuring realistic movement, responsive controls, and immersive gameplay interaction. I have strong experience in Unity development, physics-based mechanics, and interactive gameplay systems, including vehicle and ship control implementations for real-time environments. This demonstrates that my skills are a good fit for your project. To realize this project, I would begin by designing the ship movement and interaction architecture using Unity’s physics and input systems, then implement mechanics such as steering, acceleration, buoyancy, and environmental interaction. I would optimize the gameplay feel with responsive controls, camera systems, and animation feedback while ensuring stable performance and scalable code structure for future feature additions. Additionally, I would test and refine the mechanic across multiple gameplay scenarios to ensure smooth and engaging player experience. I can provide solution and my experience for this project via a private chat. I have got ideas brewing for your project, but I’d like to make sure they are aligned what you want. Warm regards Ruslan

Hi! I’m Cora May, and I’d love to build your interactive VR Unity ship engine mechanic training room for consumer headsets. I’ll create a realistic, to-scale main engine model and implement true VR grab/hand-tracked interactions so trainees can disassemble and reassemble every bolt, gasket, and tool without clipping or physics glitches. Using Unity + C# (and where helpful, C++ integration), I’ll wire step-by-step logic with contextual cues/torque targets, plus instant audio/visual feedback for skipped steps or incorrect re-installs. The experience will include walking-inspection, natural tool pickup, logical part layout, and a one-click reset to the initial state for repeated practice, finishing with a clear “task complete” and operational confirmation. I’ll also deliver an installable standalone build, source project files, and a short hand-off user guide.

Hi there, THE CHALLENGE is creating a fully immersive VR Unity Ship Mechanic Simulator that provides a realistic and interactive training experience for ship mechanics. The project involves developing a virtual engine room where trainees can disassemble and reassemble the ship's main engine, with every component being grabbable and interactable. Ensuring that the physics-based interactions are accurate, providing contextual cues and feedback, and maintaining smooth performance on consumer VR headsets are key technical challenges that need to be addressed. I will approach these challenges by meticulously designing and implementing the 3D engine model, optimizing physics interactions, and conducting thorough testing to meet the acceptance criteria. Regards, Matheus

Delivering immersive VR training environments that elevate hands-on learning, I’ve developed complex interactive simulations achieving precise, physics-driven part manipulation and stepwise task completion. Your need for a fully interactive VR UNITY training room focused on engine maintenance—where every bolt, gasket, and tool is grabbable for a complete disassembly and reassembly—is perfectly understood. The attention to “natural” tool handling, contextual cues, instant feedback, and seamless scene reset echoes your quest for a user-friendly, professional training system. My work integrates realistic-scale 3D modeling with physics-based interactions to create smooth, standalone VR experiences that reliably track user actions and provide real-time feedback, ensuring a comprehensive, intuitive engine repair workflow. You can count on fast, clear communication and efficient delivery of a polished, fully tested VR training tool ready to transform your ship mechanic training. I am available for a quick chat! I already see a clean way to execute this. I specialize in building interactive VR training simulators in Unity, especially for technical and mechanical workflows. I’ve worked on step‑by‑step procedure training, realistic tool interactions, and safety-critical environments, so a ship engine maintenance simulator is a very natural fit. You want a VR training room where a mechanic can realistically practice engine maintenance tasks: walking around the engine, grabbing tools, following guided steps, and learning procedures without risk or downtime on real equipment. The outcome is repeatable, immersive training that actually builds muscle memory and confidence. My approach would be to first map your exact maintenance procedures, tools, and environment, then translate that into an intuitive VR flow with clear interactions, feedback, and progression so it feels like “real work,” not a game. Quick question: do you already have reference materials (engine CAD, photos, SOPs) for the specific engine and tasks you want simulated? Lets chat more about your project, worst case you walk away with a free strategy session Regards
