My name is José Manuel Labrador, lawyer n. 141614 of the Madrid Bar Association, and in the last year I have dealt with this kind of visas, mainly for English speaking clients, being experience in the documents required and the way to submit them before the Spanish administration. Being yourself already in Spain and are aware of the documents required and its translation, I think it would be easy to apply for the visa at most by mid September. Once you get the approval, I could also help you with the TIE, and any other related tasks you may need.
