Illustration - New Children's Book, ages 1-5

Children's book. Full colour and lots of detail, but it is for kids so it doesn't have to be perfect scale, want it to capture the imagination.
Just the background illustrations are required with clear areas of background where the child/s form can be input over the top at a later stage. All other characters can be drawn into the drawings (i.e the Fire chef etc...)
The illustrations need to look ok if only one child is added at a later stage but can also have 2 children added. So I am expecting a fully illustrated picture, just areas where less important areas of background can be hidden later.
Book needs 14 illustrations that would span across 2 pages (double spread illustrations). A cover design is also required.
Good characterizations will be required for the visual capacity of 2-5 year old children.
Please provide samples and illustrations should be suitable for both ebook type look as well as possible printing in future.
No companies or groups! Individual illustrators only!
Successful illustrator who creates work we are happy with will have multiple jobs out of this. There are 5 books already and more coming. This job is for one book first.
