First on the agenda is moving my existing wired thermostat from its current spot to a new location on the same drywall. The job involves opening the wall cleanly, extending or rerouting the low-voltage wiring, installing a new back-plate, and patching the original opening so it finishes flush and ready for paint. Solid, code-compliant connections and tidy drywall repair are essential; the thermostat must power up and control the HVAC exactly as before once you’re done. Once the thermostat tests perfectly, the remaining wall projects can be handled in any order that suits your workflow: • Securely mount two framed mirrors (anchors must sit level and support the weight without drift). • Install a floating shelf so it sits perfectly horizontal and hides all brackets. • Fix a wall stand for an upright vacuum cleaner at the manufacturer’s recommended height, making sure studs or proper anchors are used. All walls involved are standard drywall. Please bring the appropriate stud finder, level, oscillating tool or keyhole saw for clean cuts, drywall mud, and finishing supplies; I will supply the hardware that came with each item. Completion is confirmed when every piece is firmly mounted, lines up straight, and the relocated thermostat functions reliably.
