The only information I’m looking to verify is the exact job title held and the start-to-end dates with the previous employer; salary, reason for leaving, or any wider background or criminal checks are not required for this assignment. You will contact the employer (or their payroll/HR provider), obtain written or recorded confirmation, and compile a brief report that includes: • the verified job title • the verified employment dates • the name and role of the person who confirmed the information • the method and date of verification A scanned copy of any supporting document or email thread is essential so I can lodge it in the candidate’s file.
