This is a 21-day trial for what will become a long term part-time role, with room to grow. You will be helping with day-to-day digital marketing activities as our company grows. Training is available if required, though the ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of digital marketing disciplines and the confidence to solve problems as they arise. SKILLS Not all skills are required, but the more demonstrable experience you have in these areas, the better suited you will be to the role. - Creating and managing ads and retargeting in Facebook and Google - Comfortable with 3rd party website tags, such as Google Analytics to Hotjar (bonus points for experience with Google Tag Manager) - Writing engaging copy, particularly in ads where space is limited (blog writing a bonus) - Adapting landing pages in online software such as Unbounce - Comfortable in WordPress - Understanding SEO basics - Have a strategic rather than tactical mindset Huge bonus points and more future potential if you: - Can deal with clients and manage projects - Are an expert with Google Tag Manager - Are a conversion optimisation ninja who loves Google Analytics - Can create a full automated email marketing series - A confident front-end developer with an eye for design - Study copywriting and can research and write a full sales letter, from 500 to 2000 words - Can generate sales for the business QUESTIONS What is your digital marketing background? If we committed to 10 hours per week, how would you choose to structure these working hours across the week? If you were left with spare hours in a week, what could you do with that time to bring value to the business? OPTIONAL QUESTIONS Pick one or more questions, and give a simple answer. Hey there, This job sounds like a great opportunity for me! I would like to prove that I am the freelancer with the right set of skills and attitude. Just a few words about my 8 years experience: Different areas of digital marketing for different countries, from SEM and Display for one of the biggest eCommerce shops in Germany, Gaming industry and app advertising worldwide, to the small local businesses in Australia (Adwords, Facebook, Bing). Google Adwords and Google Analytics certified. Very confident with tracking technologies, including Google Tag Manager, re-marketing and web analytics, especially Google Analyticts. Highly experienced in LP split testing, understanding of key factors for increasing of the conversion rate. Very good knowledge of WordPress and different plugins, as well as Unbounce. Now to your questions. 10 hours per week. I would split them into 2 big blocks 3-4 hours on 2 days, f. e. Wednesday and Saturday for the "big rocks" plus 0,5-1h every day for communication, checking, campaign management etc. But it really depends on the tasks. Flexibility is a good keyword here. If hours left, would use them for research for opportunities, training, following up new trends. Optional: 1) f.e. Audience for /checkout to be able to retarget those who proceeded to the checkout but didn't complete the purchase. Or visitors of /bracelets and/or /earrings to retarget those who were interested in bracelets and show them earrings page as they might be interested in this category as well. 2) Bounce rate. My Digital Marketing Background I am a US based growth marketer with experience managing and creating ads with Facebook and Google Adwords. I have considerable experience with tools such as Google Tag Manager (have used for setting up tools like Optimizely, Inspectlet and Hotjar and also to create site specific events.) I work with tools like Unbounce and Wordpress on a daily basis (current website is Wordpress based) and have used Unbounce to generate leads via an ebook download campaign. Along with Wordpress I am comfortable using tools like Yoast Seo and Moz to optimize site specific SEO in my generated blog content. I also have experience running monthly newsletters via Mailchimp to obtain conversions. My experience does not stop there I have been responsible for generating the leads for Mailchimp and then targeting them with the aforementioned newsletters. (Making note of copy flow and button positioning to drive conversions). Hourly Breakdown If we committed to 10 hours a week. I would allocate at least an hour per day to optimizing and analyzing the different channels. The bulk of my working hours would preferably be on Sunday, so that I could provide weekly reports and analyses to you and your business. Spare hours during the week If I were left with spare hours during the week I would spend that time fine tuning our tracking funnel and researching new methods for targeting our consumers. This fine tuning would include testing events, and creative ads.
