E-commerce Feature Development

I’m enhancing my online store and need a developer who can add a new, user-facing feature to our existing e-commerce platform. Once we agree on the exact functionality, you’ll be responsible for: • Scoping the feature and suggesting the most suitable tech approach that fits smoothly into our current stack. • Building clean, well-commented code and integrating it end-to-end—from front-end interface through to any back-end logic and database updates. • Ensuring the update works flawlessly across desktop and mobile, preserves site speed, and follows best practices for security and PCI-compliant payment flows. • Testing thoroughly (unit and browser testing) and fixing any bugs you discover during implementation. • Delivering concise setup notes and user documentation so my in-house team can maintain the new feature going forward. Experience with common e-commerce frameworks (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or a custom Node/PHP stack) will be highly valuable.
