Recreate Variable Product Templates

We are in need of a team to help us transfer our variable product templates (for business cards, envelopes, mailers, etc.) from one platform, Four51, to another, eDocBuilder. We have about 50 buyer sites on Four51 with variable products ranging anywhere from 1 to 15 templates per site. However, this initial proposal is for ONLY one Buyer Site, RE/MAX, as a preliminary test to see if we would like to move forward with you completing the remaining 49 buyer sites. Upon satisfaction and agreement, we would come up with a separate proposal for the remainder of the project. Completion Timeline: 2 weeks from initial agreement, for all variable product templates from single buyer site, RE/MAX, to be completed. (Total of 16 variable products). Additionally, we will provide an instructional video outlining the process in more detail for the steps necessary to complete this project. You can watch the instructional video on YouTube here: [login to view URL] In short, the process will be as follows: Connect to Four51 via FTP (Firezilla, cyberduck, etc.) Login to Four51 Go to a Buyer Site (In this case RE/MAX) Click on Products Click on a specific variable product and copy the product number Look up product by product number Pull the assets for the particular variable product Download the pulled assets for the product from FTP Client -- only one product's assets can be pulled at a time. Locate and open file with filled out variable data with Adobe Acrobat DC Create necessary form fields for all variable data and their containing boxes -- there is an element of pre-planning and creativity to this step as all variable templates are not created equally. You will need to be able to decide what form fields to add and how they will behave. (I usually have an example of the Four51 variable product I'm duplicating visible on the website so that I can play around with it and ensure I exactly duplicate the functionality). Save a copy of the file with all necessary form fields. Import this saved copy into edocbuilder. Import all necessary image assets, fonts, etc. into eDocBuilder. Edit all form fields, ensuring that when testing the template the variable data functions, is positioned, and looks (same fonts, sizes, and colors) exactly as the working product in Four51. Go back into Adobe Acrobat DC, and replace the template page that has the variable data shown with the PDF that has the variable data not shown from the asset folder that was previously downloaded -- by replacing the page you maintain the form fields you created previously. Save copy. Import this to edocbuilder replacing original template -- this will make it so that when the form fields you created in edocbuilder are filled out, they do not overlap the content on the PDF template. This completes the creation of one variable product template. Complete the above steps for the rest of the variable products. High attention to detail and critical thinking involved with this project.
