Produce around 30 small cartoon images

I'm looking to hire an artist/graphic designer to draw 20-30 small coloured cartoon sketches.
I'm on a low budget, so probably looking for students rather than professional companies.
Attached are 4 images showing the kind of detail I'm looking for. My images would all be fun science based cartoons relating to each letter of the alphabet - ie astronaut, bubbles, Cosmos etc. I'd provide more details of the exact images at a later date, but I wanted to give you an understanding of the idea of the project.
Most of these images will be printed out at a size of 3x3 cm, so they don't need much detail as it would be lost.
The other possibility is to have the first letter included in the image. So for A have an astronaut climbing up an A which is made of moon rock, B could be a child blowing bubbles out of the holes in a letter B, C would be moon and starts orbiting the letter. - but at the sizes I mentioned I'm not sure that this would be possible.
