Long Term Newspaper Ad / Classified Ad Designer

I am looking for someone who wishes to have a part-time job designing and developing business ads for a newspaper. If can prove that you can accommodate our requirements in both great design and in a timely fashion, we would welcome you to handling all our graphical business newspaper ads full time. The newspaper ads must be in 300 dpi and must conform to specific size requirements that we set forth. Ads are built to fit column inches in a printed newspaper. In all total, you would need to make ads to fit about 20 different sizes, depending upon the specific ad size that we require, which is based upon our advertising customer that purchases ads from us. The dimensions of the ads will vary in size from about 1.25" x 2" to as much as a full page, which would be 11" x 21" in size. Most ads however will usually be around 3.0" x 2.5". As a standard method of us needing these ads designed, we receive an order for an ad to be published in our newspaper. We then would provide you the exact size of the Ad dimensions, along with as much of the company or individual that is placing the ad that we need incorporated into the graphical ad. The information provided to you for the ad will likely include, phone numbers, physical addresses, web address, emails, photos and company names. Sometimes we will have a logo already supplied by our customer and will need to implement that into the ad, other times, it may require designing a simple logo for the ad. If the design requires anything of any complexity for the logo, we will agree to an additional charge if needed to incorporate a more complex logo into the artwork, if required. With the supplied information stated above, we then need to have you build the ad to the size requirements for the job. We need to have someone who can turn around ads within a 24 hour period, once provided all the information, excluding weekends. We would not expect to have you produce more than 3 ads per day, as a rule. To begin with, we will need to have you develop between 5 to 15 ads, initially. If we are satisfied with your quality of work and time to deliver, we will move forward with providing additional work on a weekly basis. A KEY aspect of this job is that we need HIGH quality looking ads which reflect a standard "EYE" candy appeal. When you look at all 5-15 Ads together, they should reflect a very professional look and standardized quality appearance, and be able to maintain that HIGH quality week after week. Once we have find the right person for this job, we would be looking at having you do this graphic Ad work on a full-time basis, which would typically require between 30-50 Ads per month, however sometimes more, depending upon the year/season. We are looking for someone who is able to perform this job at a rate of $3.00 USD - $5.00 USD per ad, for an average size ad of 3.0" x 2.5". They also have gasoline for automobiles, diesel, and provides Propane fuel for RV's., as well as ice cold beer and block ice. They are also close to ABC lake, just a short 30 minutes from the water.
