I am looking for a professional to create a logo/branding for a startup business in early stages.
The business at launch will be providing a garment/accessory for women, but in the long term may be more of a provider of practical solutions which may not be limited to clothing/fashion. It is founded by women and hopes to empower women, both in the products as well as its philosophy and mission.
Files required will be the source files in all of the usual formats (.tiff, pdf, .jpg, etc.) in high resolution and include vector images with transparent background that can be scaled, square logos for social media use, and files which support Adobe Illustrator.
The expectation is that the logo will be clean and simple; elegant and timeless - but not sterile/clinical. Colours should be limited to black and white (however, I would be open to considering an accent colour if you feel this would enhance the finished product). Please also consider stationery designs (ie. business card), and for product labels on fabric as well. A mockup inset, box and business card would be helpful to avoid surprises that come with first time printing.
I appreciate this scope is limiting, but it will make the choice of font and the logo design all the more important. Inspiration for this has come from the likes of Net-a-porter, [url removed, login to view] or Karen Millen.
The Business name is Cate Calco.
I'd be expecting you to come up with two or three of your own ideas to present; however, I would like to see a mock-up of a rough sketch I did with 3 C's (uploaded) for a possible logo design, unless you have reasons why you'd strongly advise against this approach (The business name has two words with C, and 3 Cs in the full name. Not sure if that's a good way to go but it was an idea! Obviously needs the professional touch; this was merely to convey the concept).
Any questions, please feel free to ask; looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!
Please provide a link to a portfolio if you would like to be considered for this work; thank you.
