We are a Canadian on-line business who create fun embroidered patches. Our main market are Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world. Our belief statement is: "We believe everyone should be rewarded and recognized for their accomplishments to build their most precious assets: their self esteem and confidence in themselves. We do this by creating products that can be displayed proudly, are fun to collect and are unique to each individual's talents and interests. It captures a snapshot of who they are and what they can become."
We're looking for a backup illustrator for overflow (spring is our busiest time) and vacation fill in. We use Adobe Illustrator to create vector art for our in-stock and custom designs. Custom order requests come in all forms, from a written description to sketches provided by customers. You need to convert their vision into a fun patch design. It's a lot like designing logos.
This project is to design 5 patches that can be placed side by side to one another. The size for each patch is 2" overall, to calculate, the width and height added together must add up to 4" (i.e.. 2" w x 2" h or 1.5" w x 2.5" h). The maximum amount of colours that can be used is 9.
Nights Away Set – 5 night increments (this line is not included in the design)
Shape: Chain Link Shapes – see attached image
Background of patch - funky backgrounds – zentangle style art
Thank you and look forward to seeing what you can come up with.
