We are currently in the final stages of planning an online therapy web site.
The main purpose of the site will be to provide online therapy via live chat services along with a general information base. We require 2 powerful sides to this site.
Front End (User Experience)
Will allow a user to register via a simple wizard. This will ask for certain information about the client.
Once registered, the site will take the client through a step by step process to find the right therapist for their needs.
When the user finds the therapist they like, they will be required to make an appointment.
Payments for deposits and final payments are performed during this process using an online payment portal.
The interface should be simple for chat. Some basic formatting such as colours is a bonus.
Emoticons are essential.
Back End (Therapists & Admin)
The backend for therapists will be simplistic and easy to navigate. A lobby with large squares where the therapists can modify profile information, update payment information and manage their clients.
This lobby will also facilitate some sort of notification or live status on whether their clients have joined the chat room or not. Perhaps a system that works like a IM app.
Also this area will contain transcripts for every client saved.
The admins should have the ability to manage clients and therapists. Each client/therapist will have details pertaining to their medical history, licences and other pertinent information.
Admins will be able to see the schedules of each therapist and any appointments and bookings made in past and future etc.
The site must boast security that is relative to current standards.
The successful bidder will have experience in such projects and must be able to show in detail the works they've done.
We are looking for a team of skilled professionals with talents ranging from coding, design, project management and design.
We will guide the design process but for the most part will rely on the bidder to guide what is current and exceptable practice.
As mentioned, this is a feasibility request. We don't require any works done and are NOT prepared to commit to a bidder until we have approved the cost, time frames and plans.
Ideas are welcome. In fact, they will be an essential part of the selection process.
