Re - Design our Store Logo

We are looking for a creative designer to re-design our retail store logo. We have been in business for almost 18 years and we are looking to refresh our company image and bring it to the 21st century.
We need "creativity" and good ideas. For the new logo we are looking:
[url removed, login to view] Mark Logos: Uses a bold linear style to create the essence of an actual object without the details of a fully illustrative logo
2. Colors: Crimson Red needs to be kept. Black and white are optional. Solid solid colors, no gray scales. No more than 2 colors
3. No cursive fonts.
5. Logo must be clean, modern and appealing to anyone 18 years or older (male and female)
6. Most importantly we are looking to transform our name into a brand.
