A catering company is looking for updating the logo.

Our current logo is over 20 years old, and evokes a “French” theme. There’s a hidden Eiffel tower and it, and it bears the colors of the French flag. The logo has always caused confusion, as we are not a French food catering company. Our food can be described more as “World Cuisine made with California ingredients and ethos”. We don’t want our logo to include any “French” references moving forward.
The company has always been known for “out of the box” presentations. That image is very ingrained on our clients’ minds. However, we are moving away from that image as well, and we think that the natural progression is towards “fun”. The catering industry is moving towards food and presentations that are “interactive” and “Instagrammable” and more accessible to millennials. Our menus will reflect that change, and we want also our logo to reflect that “fun” vibe as well. We are located in Northern California, where food is a “religion” and clients are very sophisticated, so although fun, the logo should also show some sophistication as well.
The logo should be “clean” in keeping up with modern trends.
