The post from July is posted below [url removed, login to view] that A little more info, we have just commisioned yesterday the main system itself to be produced by some body we trust very much. We will supply the site flow diagram for you to see what pages etc there will be links to. but i will go through it in detail later on. But dont worry its not that much work, just the same template altered a few times to match the different content types. Thanks and i hope you find this all ok. ian at [url removed, login to view] *************************************************** We need 3 templates for a Property portal that is being produced now. We are building a huge website for a property portal. We have built a rough design, [url removed, login to view] this is the sort of layout we want, but I am open for a lot of freedom. I want it to be very clean and user friendly. It must validate for both CSS and HTML and work on all browsers MAC and PC It must be table less and div tag driven. We like very clean and simple designs bit like Google. Most other property sites are designed to please the estate agents, we want this to please the buyers. It will be simple (I know I keep saying it) to navigate and will allow buyers to find what they need without getting lost in the mean time. The site will have a footer to show links for disclaimers, tools etc like google. The three templates will be follows 1 – Home page A simple search form as the above link shows the fields needed. I want this so when somebody gets to the site, you will need to be a complete nut not to know what to do. 2 – Property results list This is where the properties that are returned from the search will be listed. From here the buyer will click on a property and open a property detail page. 3 – Property Detail page This is the info about the property, it will need a part for images that expands to take any amount at a set size per image, detailed text block, who is selling it, features list, extra links like “Click here for map” “Add to favourites” “Virtual tours” There will be about 6 of them links which we will supply when you get the job. There is a detailed info pack we will give to the winner, this has a full site description with exactly what is on each page and how it will interact with the rest of the site and a demo site that was built for the developers to follow when building the system. You MUST have proven portfolio, and also feedback would be a huge advantage. Under no circumstances can this be from a template, or copied from existing site design. Also future work for the winner will be offered, as the system will auto generate websites on the fly for agents needing a site, we will need 5 – 10 designs making in the same as above. This means the agent signs up, and chooses the template they wish and it will automatically generate a website to work with that design and layout. But that is NOT part of this quote, it is future work. I will be online most of the time via msn, skype, email, mobile phone, and if you live close enough you can visit our offices. The logo has not been designed yet, the site will be [url removed, login to view], so of course, it will need to be a gorilla theme. I would rather just the logo be gorilla themed, similar to how i have done on the demo site. Im open to suggstions though.
