I need a simple but unique and balanced logo design for my new business that will be primarily based online. The website name is "Dr. Kimberley, ND" and my slogan is "Own Your Health, Live A Life You Love". For this project I am looking for 4-5 different concepts based off of the information below (one concept being based off of the "embedded dragonfly with slogan" attachment). From these conceptual designs I will decide which design to build out to completion. I am looking for a graphic artist that brings a more creative approach tho their work.
I am a Naturopathic Doctor and want my site to be based around healthy eating, healthy living, global travel, Naturopathic Medicine and natural health, pushing your comfort zone, etc.. My primary demographic is women, likely anywhere from age 25-55.
I definitely need "Dr. Kimberley, ND" to be incorporated into the design as my name is my company URL address and the focus of the branding. The slogan is optional. I would be interested in having a version with the slogan incorporated as well as separate.
I want the logo to be simple and clear enough that it is able to be shrunk down to a thumbnail size and still be effective and easily recognizable.
For branding symbols, I have been attracted to the idea of a dragonfly or hummingbird. I like the concept of freedom and change that they symbolize. I have also considered using the silhouette of a woman, perhaps reaching out her hand, freeing a bird, letting something go, etc.... I would want the woman to look very relaxed and graceful, with flowing hair, a flowing dress or scarf. I am very open to creativity as I have not become fixated on a concept or design. I am also open to images being incorporated into the font/text itself. Please see attached images. I'm not looking to re-use any of these, however liked aspects about them that could help with the design creation. Please feel free to contact me with any questions regarding anything related to the design. I feel this will help expedite the process to reach a finished product.
The colors that I am considering are teal/turquoise and a bright, warm coral colour. As a third colour I may also include vibrant darker purple. Ideally, I would like it to look good on either a white or black background.
Must Have: Dr. Kimberley, ND must be included in the design, however the slogan is optional. Must include 2-3 of the colours I specified.
Nice to Have: Concept of a dragonfly, hummingbird or silhouette of a woman (see text description and attachments).
What I don’t want: I don't want anything too overly medical. No red colours. No scribbly fonts or anything that is difficult to read.
At the end of the project I will require all industry standard files as well as copyright transfer.
Preference with be given to designers that provide feedback in their bid.
