Drupal Web Site

Our current website [login to view URL] is outdated. I have put together a new site powered by Drupal. It can be viewed here [login to view URL] (not this is a slow server and may not always be up). The new site is not yet ready for deployment. We are looking for an experienced Drupal developer with a proven track record to address these remaining issues before the site can go live: Look and Feel: We need some graphics stitched up for slideshow which shows on all pages. We most likely want to change colours and fonts and make the company logo more prominent right cross the site. Blogs: The author really needs to know what she/he is doing to get formatting and embedded multimedia content to look correctly. I'd really like to see a CMS component that provides a WYSIWYG editor and allows me to insert multimedia content at the appropriate location when I edit a blog. This mechanism should allow me to do both: upload new content and embed content already uploaded. Gallery: The galleries work ok, but it would be much nicer if they were hierarchical and if the provided a high quality slideshow feature like for example available on http://www.flickr.com. Social Networking: We should have something that integrates with Twitter and Facebook. We're open to recommendations. Forum: Personally I'm quite happy how this works at the moment. Miscellaneous pages: I've added a Contact Us page. This is sort-of ok for me to do because I understand css and html, but it is far to complex for an average user. Average users without knowledge of web development techniques should be able to modify such content reliably and easily. Transferring Pages: One of the task will be migrating some static pages from the live site over to the new site. Other areas we need help with: SEO: The current website rates extremely poorly in Google searches. We need to bring this up near the top. (Top priority) Deployment: Currently, the initial site I mentioned above is hosted on one of my own machine. We need somebody who can do the above work and migrate everything over to [login to view URL] (our virtual ubuntu machine). Backup: Our current web server is a virtual machine in the US. I'd like to get a second virtual machine hosted with another supplier as a mirror. We'd have to configure the primary machine such that it is regularly mirrored to the mirror box so that if the supplier goes down all we need to do is change the DNS records to point to the mirror to bring it all backup again. I would love to get a rough quote (how many hours) for the above work and the hourly rate. In the future, we will want to add a module for a rental/hire type of business. We also want ongoing support. Pete
