GoPro Videographer Cape Town: Sea Lions and Penguins

Studio 155 seeks a Cape Town-based videographer who can spend about ten days capturing continuous GoPro footage of two sites: Boulders Bay penguins and sea lions on the Cape Town coast. We are looking for fixed location shots of spots where resident animals wander naturally in and out of frame in varying quantities. Think establishing shots rather than close-ups of individual animals—just their everyday movement in areas they gather. Footage should run continuously throughout the day. The videographer should be sensitive to filming around tourists and animals. Deliverables • Raw 4K .MP4 files straight from the GoPro • File transfer method to be discussed with successful candidate. Daily file transfers will be required, and some minor editing may be required as requested. Acceptance Criteria • Eight hours of stable, usable footage each day • Footage clearly shows the animals moving in and out of frame You’ll handle your own gear and on-site logistics; Studio 155 will support with obtaining necessary filming permissions and site entry costs were applicable. Studio 155 will be looking to contract freelancers for a range of projects with similar briefs, therefore reliable freelancers may have the opportunity to obtain further contracts with Studio 155.
