I need a script for Gimp (my version is [url removed, login to view]) that should change the width and height of the picture on all existing layers. For example, I have layers 640x400, and I import pictures to all of them. Every layer has a different image with different resolution (bigger than layer). The script should read the size of each image and change it so it fits to layer size:
1) Layer 640x400, image 1000x500 -> image is resized to 800x400
2) Layer 640x400, image 660x500 -> image is resized to 640x485
Shortly, the script should go through all the layers and check the size of the images, then it should count width and height ratio. The resolution of the image should be changed that way, so there is no white (transparent) spaces on the layer. New width of image can’t be smaller than width of the layer, and new height of image can’t be smaller than height of the layer.
If you are familiar with Gimp scripts, let me know. I can explain again if it is not clear.
