I am originally from St Petersburg Russia. I was adopted by Americans when I was 7. I am starting a memoir about my life thus far and traumas I endured. I posted a video on YouTube about my life story and so far it has a little over 30,000 views, currently. I would like someone to help me write the book, I am not expecting anyone to write it for me unless they want to for some reason. The book will contain me being orphaned at 2 in Russia, being taken away from my mom at 2, going to multiple orphanages, what it was like in the orphanages, meeting my future parents for the first time, the day I was adopted, and everything after that such as the challenges I had to over come and the wounds that had to heal. It will include things like what it was like coming to the US and starting school not knowing any English, ect. It will go over my Birth parents addiction and how it ended up affecting me and my addiction. I want to write about Russia’s policy on not allowing Americans to adopt children from Russia, I want to include tips and advice on adopting abroad or domestic, and what adoptive parents should expect. I have started writing a little bit I realize I need help. I would like someone With experience in non fiction or memoir that can work with me, give me guidance, opinions, tips, writing some things for me, work on making my book better by listening to my memories and ideas, or even watching my YouTube video to understand my story better and giving me feedback on what you think should be included and how to write it, or write it yourself if you would like. I would like someone that will help make my content great.
