We are working on a Unity 2D game for the upcoming Ouya game console and need someone to help us implement the game's UI. The game is a top down sci fi roguelike game set in space. We are using 2D Toolkit so experience with this plug-in is a plus but not required if you are familiar with other packages:

We are on a tight deadline so proficiency with UI programming and Unity C# are key.
I am attaching wireframes of the first screens showing the required UI components to implement. They are pretty straight forward consisting of meters (health, exp, etc), pop up menus, and targeting rectangles.
Note: Ignore the minimap and inventory UI for now, that will come later. This is a very small scope project to start.
You will implement using placeholder rectangles while artwork is created and will then replace with final art. The goal is to get the functionality working early and we will work together on any questions that arise during development.
This smaller project is to get us working together and acquainted with the workflow. If this is completed successfully and quickly you will receive more work to implement the rest of the game UI.
We are an independent developer so are looking for someone who can be flexible with the budget. We will provide you credit in the game which will be a console launch title on Ouya.
- Has Unity 4.0 (Pro)
