Hello, I would like to share my approach of deploying your fully fledged web app. I would choose vercel for frontend deployment and configure domain if you have. Secondly I will containerise the backend using docker and integrate CD using GitHub actions so, future updates will be deployed on every commit. Flow would be build the image and push to docker hub and pull the image to ec2 and start it with existing volume if exist else new. I will use nginx for reverse proxy and deploy the containerised backend in ec2 and configure the domain using nginx and get a valid ssl using certbot for free and this way you’re backend would be deployed with sub domain api.yourdomain.com.
