We need this solution as a backup to our present VOIP system.
The backup uses skype with a plugin called 'Talk and Write'

This software opens up an interactive whiteboard that works with skype for web-conferencing. It doesn't offer video-conferencing to multiple users. As a result we want to be able to host our own video room- A window that runs horizontally and/or vertically and contains images from multiple users webcams.
Basically we want to be able to use this video room window with the 'talk and write' window to use them together. We would like to have the webcam window/ display in a floating window that can be moved around over or to the side of the 'talk and write' window.
I have attached two printscreens of 'Talk and Write' running with samples of how we would like the video room window to work. As you can see there is enough space for a horizontal video window above the 'Talk and Write' window or a vertical window on either side. Having the webcam window as a floating window would also mean we can maximise talk and write.
We want to be able to host on our VPS. We have Red 5 installed.
Points to clarify:
Vertical or horizontal ? (or both) ?
A vertical window would be the best, but we like to have the option of both if that doesn't raise the price too much.
what options should the users have with their webcams?
We just want users to have the option to pause or stop their webcams.
What size should they have ?
We'd like 7cm by 5cm. Basically we'd like it to be the same or similiar size to the two samples we have attached.
What are the actions users can do on cams ?
As said above, we really just want users to have the option to pause or stop their webcams. We are really looking for a cost effective solution.
