PLEASE NO BIDS TO DO THIS PROJECT IN PHP - THE WEBSITE IMPROVEMENTS MUST BE DONE IN ASP.NET (Dot Net Nuke for portal, mods, skins, etc..) and FLASH technology. Also payment must use GAF escrow services and broken into 3 payments (I will setup IMMEDIATE payment - want to get this started ASAP). Bids should be on the low end of this range - project should be fast and easy for experienced company. Please do not submit unless you have YEARS of experience in the these technologies - ASP.NET, FLASH, DNN (Dot Net Nuke), GRAPHIC DESIGN, LOGO DESIGN & AJAX Controls. Communication is CRITICAL. I own a Microsoft Training company called [login to view URL] - I am looking for some help to design a skin, flash, new logo and grapahic design. Looking for something cutting edge using Ajax controls, etc.. I love the Dot Net Nuke concept and want the full content management control for website and portal. I will not need hosting. As for modules in DotNetNuke - I think many of my needs may exist in modules already developed. I need the ability to display video, audio, test and files and discussion boards in a restricted site which allows users to register either by paying (via paypal) or entering a promotion code we'd provide them from email. As for an overall template for the design - the website [login to view URL] is a very good example (not the same industry) - I like the overall view (template) of this site. As for the FLASH - [login to view URL] did a really nice front end flash - I was looking for something similar spinning the different technologies I teach - with people in front of it. I understand DNN to the functional aspect of content management, user management, adding skins and other component features. My initial thoughts are the development shouldn't be overwelming since most pieces exist. I need a company who can use creativity to create a professional, cutting edge, business (no cartoon graphics) website. If you have experience Flash with great graphic design skills, skins, etc... I'd love to get a quote for my project. I can certainly handle all content of my site :) PORTAL - What I vision ACT to do is allow a user to log in to the portal (Maybe on the mid-lower left of the page - with a register/login option). The users will be able to access video (Which will run in the center of the website with menus on left and right - video interface to be like YouTube) - menus on the left will offer video, files (Ability to up/download), discussion board and test questions... All of these pieces will run in the center of the website - with the menu on the left and another on the right. Registration page must allow users to either enter a "promotion code" and gain immediate access to the website or submit a payment to Paypal and receive access. FLASH - In the center of the page - a Flash presentation - which does something similar to [login to view URL] - spinning the different logos of Microsoft technologies I teach (Windows Server, SQL, Vista, ASP.NET, Sharepoint, Exchange, Biztalk, Visual Studio .NET and maybe some generic people - happy about training - again - just like the dundasconsulting flash example website I just mentioned). SEARCH - A nice sitemap and also search (I like the placement of the search textbox on the [login to view URL] website) is another important piece of the project. The user must be able to easily find our courses on keyword searches. CONTENT MANAGEMENT - We'll need the ability to update a calendar which lets students know about upcoming classes. Also looking for an intuitive, menu driven way to display all the classes (and outlines) we teach (Over 200 classes) and need the ability to add and remove classes from this website. The ability to update menus on pages. So content management (updating pages, menus, video, files, test questions, account management, without changing source code) to manage the content pages of the website. MENUS - The menus could be flash driven or more simple to look like the ones on the massresort website. I really like the menus they have on the right side of the page after you click into the initial menu links.... EMAIL - We want users to submit a request for more information regarding a specific class - and based on the class they choose from a drop down - email them the outline of the class automatically. In addition - we want to also receive an email with their contact information. GRAPHICS & LOGO - Must be extremely creative in this area. The graphics created must be custom (Some stock photos acceptable) to reflect a very natural look on the website. The logo will be very important to also have a very professional, cutting edge look and feel. We'll need the logo in several formats to allow us to use it against multiple background colors on other marketing materials like HTML emails, PDFs and other projects we'll have coming up. The overall look of the website needs to be very professional, clean, soft images.. Nothing cartoonish... Fonts, logos, graphics and flash really needs to be incredible work....
