Correspondent Banking Relationships in China

Project Description We are seeking an experienced financial consultant or firm to support the establishment of correspondent banking relationships for a bank based in Tajikistan. The objective is to secure reliable correspondent accounts with banks in China, MENA, Europe and selected Asian jurisdictions to facilitate cross-border settlements and expand international payment capabilities. This project requires a structured, strategic, and compliance-oriented approach. We are not looking for generic advisory services, but for practical, results-driven support with direct understanding of correspondent banking processes. Scope of Work: • Identification of suitable correspondent banks in China and Asia • Assessment of eligibility and onboarding requirements • Strategy development for successful application • Preparation and review of required documentation • Assistance in communication with potential correspondent banks • Guidance throughout the application and onboarding process • End-to-end account opening assistance • Document preparation and submission management • Ongoing relationship management The consultant is expected to understand regulatory, compliance, AML/CFT, and risk-related aspects of correspondent banking relationships. ⸻ Deliverables * Shortlist of suitable correspondent banks * Onboarding strategy and documentation checklist * Comprehensive application process * Direct bank communication facilitation * Account setup
