I would like to film an authentic look at Skid Row in the morning/afternoon. I’m specifically interested in three angles: everyday routines on the streets, the community services operating there, and any historical landmarks or stories you think deserve to be told. I’d also like to talk to some residents and maybe see inside their homes To do this well, I need a local resident who genuinely knows the neighbourhood, can move comfortably among the community, and is willing to walk with me while I film. We can stay earlyso we can catch those first hours of the day when the area comes alive. Expect roughly three to four hours on foot, with short pauses for B-roll and interviews. You should be: • Comfortable introducing me to key spots and people. • Able to offer context or quick anecdotes on camera if I turn the mic toward you (nothing scripted—just honest insight). • Mindful of safety and respectful engagement; if a situation doesn’t feel right, I’ll rely on your judgement to pivot. I’ll handle all filming gear and releases; you simply guide, share knowledge, and help me navigate smoothly.
