A sample is attached, but PLEASE do not do the work on this spreadsheet, because we would prefer the work be done directly into the original cloud-based Google spreadsheet. For now, just look at it for the general idea. See attached file.

The spreadsheet has two tabs at the bottom: Items Sold, Results

The "Items Sold" tab currently has the following column headings:

Date Sold, Owner, Rep, Item Name, Category, Size, # of items on ticket, Item Cost, Sold for, Day of Week, Time of Day, Gender

The information contained in this "Items Sold" tab will be used to complete calculations and graphs in the Results tab.

In the Results tab, we need the following calculations and graphs printed:

Store Total

1. Total Sales:

SUM all items in the "Sold for" column

2. Average sale:

Divide the "Sales" figure in step #1 by the number of items summed (in example file, 83 items were sold, so the function would sum the column and DYNAMICALLY count the number of items calculated and divide by that number. It MUST automatically calculate the number of items summed dynamically, so that calculations are always automated and the division averages the numbers correctly. So, this month 83 items were sold, and the function divided by 83. Next month, maybe it is 97 items sold, so it must properly divide by 97, automatically.

3. Profits: SUM the "Item Cost" column and subtract it from #1 above.

4. Average profit: Divide "Profits" above by the number of items sold (similar to fuction in #2)

5. Total Sales Minus Pinball Machines: SUM all items in Sold For column, but do not include any item labeled "Pinball Machine" in the "category" column. In the example, on 1/19/2013 there is one pinball machine sold and on 1/30/2013, there were two pinball machines sold. These should be excluded from this calculation.

6. Average minus pinball: The same function as #2 above, except using the result of #5 as the number to divide. This must also lower the divisor by however many pinball machine entries are removed. (In the example file, three machines were sold, so it would count all items but exclude those three "Pinball Machine" for a total of 80 items).

7. Profit minus pinball: The same function as #3 above, except using #5 as the number to divide. This must also lower the divisor by however many pinball machine entries are removed. (In the example file, three machines were sold, so it would count all items but those three for a total of 80 items).

8. Average profit minus pinball: The same as #2, except using #5 as the number to divide. This must also lower the divisor by however many pinball machine entries are removed. (In the example file, three machines were sold, so it would count all items but those three for a total of 80 items).

Graphs -

Then we need the following graphs under this section (see sample boxes in attached file):

Pie Chart for Category: generates a pie chart based on percentages of items sold by category

Pie Chart for Size: generates a pie chart based on item size (small medium large, indicated by "S" "M" "L"

Pie chart for Gender: generate a pie chart based on "M" or "F" in gender

Pie chart for age groups: Generate a pie chart based on Age Range column (no data right now).

"Ben"

Items # 1 - 4 above plus all four graphs above but calculated for ONLY the items marked with "B" in the "Owner" column. These four calculations must only include items that have B marked in the "Owner" column.

One section for "Dean"

Same functions and graphs as "Ben" but ONLY the items marked with "D" in the "Owner" column.

One section for "Greta"

Same functions and graphs as "Ben" but for ONLY the items marked with "G" in the "Owner" column.
