Excel macro or VBA script for variant reduction

I need an Excel macro or VBA implementation: I have a source file with containers/carton with different properties and want to reduce containers with similar properties. The following information are needed in an output: -Type of carton -Opening side -Volume and length, width, height -Application (light, medium, heavy parts) With the help of a macro, similarities should now be recognized. So it is not about how often a cigarette box fits into a shoe box. Rather, it is about which boxes are almost identical, so have only very small differences in length, width, height. The aim of the whole process is to reduce the number of variants - for example, out of the 800 cartons required up to now, only 600 remain after the comparison. Approach: In the first step, only the dimensions of the cartons are involved. The macro therefore compares each carton with all the others. A permissible deviation is defined for each dimension. So far we assume +/- 10 mm, but it should be adjustable Example: Cardboard A has the dimensions (l/w/h) of 40x20x15 cm. Now it is determined which boxes are between 390 and 410 mm long. Here only 300 pieces of 800 pieces remain. These are now examined for their width, so which ones are between 190 and 210 mm wide. That leaves 100 pieces. Which ones are between 140 and 160 mm high. Remains 20 pieces. Later the result is evaluated, i.e. why do these 20 similar boxes exist, which products are packed there, so both light or heavy, etc. Can one box be replaced by the other? In this analogy, there are then no longer different sized cartoons for sports shoes and high heels. But still for riding boots. That is the goal !!   The sample gives an idea on how the source is formatted, but the data could also be copied into another new file with the macro/script. There are no specific requirements on how the data is presented.    It could be a separate worksheet or  in some columns behind the source data. A solution is needed as soon as possible.
