Excel Macro

Hi, we are an automotive data company that publishes used car values. We maintain Excel spreadsheets showing all the vehicles we list and the values for each year. Between the columns we calculate the difference in price year-to-year. The Excel sheets are populated where we want the values to show up with our unique six digit ID's. We have two Access db's with tables containing these 'GUID's' and the current values of the vehicles. We publish two values for each vehicle, a 'Trade-In value' and a "Market Ready value', so we would like the ability to select which one we want to use to populate the sheets. "[login to view URL]": contains our regular prices that we publish "Projected [login to view URL]": contains our preliminary 'working' prices not quite ready for publication Here's how we would like the process to work: We open a macro and it asks us which Excel sheet we would like to use, so we would specify for example "For_Analysis" It would then ask "Use Trade-in or Market Ready values?" If we specify 'Trade-in', the six digit GUID's in the For_Analysis sheet would be replaced with either galves_partner/Vehicles/ph_cprice OR Projected values/Proj_GUID/ph_pprice. If we specify 'Market Ready' the six digit GUID's in the For_Analysis sheet would be replaced with either galves_partner/Vehicles/ph_price2 OR Projected values/Proj_GUID/ph_price2. When analyzing the data in the populated Excel sheets, it is very important to know whether a value came out of the [login to view URL] or the Projected [login to view URL] so we would like ANY VALUE(ph_pprice or ph_price2) THAT COMES FROM PROJECTED [login to view URL] TO HAVE ITS CELL SHADED IN LIGHT BLUE, this way we can easily tell that it is a projected value. This is a must-have feature. It is worth noting that each GUID should have values in only ONE of the two Access db's, but accidents are possible so if a GUID has populated values in both mdb's, would it be possible for the macro to issue a warning maybe? That would be helpful but not required. We will run this macro frequently, so I would think the best practice would be to maintain the original worksheet with the GUID's and have the macro create a second, populated worksheet with the current values. This second sheet would be OK to be overwritten each time the macro runs, we have no reason to archive each running of the macro. The attached files are abbreviated versions that contain BMW vehicles only. The complete files we will be using are much larger and contain ALL manufacturers. We also have an Excel file called 'AMER_analysis' that we use for American made vehicles, so that would be the third Excel sheet we would need to specify the macro to work with.
