We are a training company and need help creating an interactive Excel tool to help a client create a quote for a client.
On the main tab, we need:
1) Header information where the client can enter:
a) The Unit/RO number
b) Customer or Dealer Name
c) Vehicle Description
d) Vehicle Color
2) To be able to quickly select for each part the following:
a) Paint button with drop down for Paint and blend
b) Body button with drop down for Medium and large parts
c) Depending on what is selected in the buttons have the parts of the vehicle highlight
a) If a part has paint time, highlight it in red
b) If a part has body time, highlight it in blue
c) If a part has R&I time, highlight it in green
3) Based on what is selected, have the Excel sheet lookup and create a quote that subtotals at the bottom and then calculates the sales tax.
On the second tab, I need a set-up page created that allows for the client to enter flat prices for each part type:
a) Paint cost
b) Blend cost = 2/3 of paint cost
c) Body repair cost for Medium dent
d) Body repair time for a Large dent
e) R&I Cost
f) Sales tax rate
