We need an excel spreadsheet that allows selection of categories from a list of a category and related subcategories. I have investigated and think that it is the creation of an index and match formula to create a dynamic dependent drop down box . There are approximately 44 categories and up to 20 items in each category (defined).
I need to be able to add to the spreadsheet as it is a contact database and we want to be able to pick a category and sub-category for each contact. We need to be able to add to the category / subcategory list going forward and populate the contacts on the excel spreadsheet also.
I have attached a sample of the excel spreadsheet we need to create and a copy of the list we need the drop down box for in word.
