Downloading Excel Files from Cloud Based Software

We are a Family Owned Transport Company specialising in express freight in the South Island of New Zealand. We have over 100 trucks and drivers completing over 7million kms on some of the toughtest roads in the world. We are developing a monitoring tool to help improve the driving behaviour of our professional drivers and improve safety on the road using data from our GPS provider.
The 6 day a week task involves downloading excel files on GPS records for a list of trucks from a cloud based GPS software and saving them into a folder. For each truck (approx 25 trucks) It requires identifying geographical points that relate to the GPS data required and then downloading approx 4 excel files to cover the trip we want to analyse. There would be approx 100 files downloaded per day. Each file would need to be changed into a .csv file and given the driver name plus a number e.g. John Peter 1, John Peter 2. You would be provided daily a list of trucks and the associated driver name.
