build a Drinks vending machine with a collector powered by 3 double acting cylinder. First cylinder will be used for Up and down motion – to move the collector onto the row which the user have selected.
Second cylinder will be for Left right motion – to move the collector sideways to where the user have selected the drink.
Third cylinder will be for Front and back motion the selected – push the selected drink forward so that it will dropped onto the collector.
We will use the operator HMI is to select the drinks.
Usage of speed control will be used to maintain the speed of the collector
We will use shift register – the choice selected by user is stored inside the memory system. A total use of 3 shift register for each cylinder (D-flip flop).
A timer relay will be used to time when to move each cylinder.
Counter will be used to detect the type of coins used and count total amount of money. Coins such as 10cents, 20cents, 50cents and $1 will be used.
