1. Implement a segmentation algorithm in matlab to segment the image using its incoherent features and identify the RBCs (red blood cells) and WBCs (white blood cells) in blood image. Use techniques inspired from segmentation based on discontinuity.
2. Implement a segmentation algorithm in matlab to segment the images using any of the techniques based on similarity and identify the RBCs and WBCs.
3. Function which will distinguish/detect RBCs or WBCs only.
For both the tasks above, please make sure that appropriate pre-processing techniques are implemented to remove the unwanted noise from the images.
Programs Should be FULLY commented step by step.
In-built MATLAB functions cannot be used.
The solution will be checked by special tools to make sure it's not someone's work from google, etc.
A few images will be provided.
