my project is about power management and fault tolerance. I'm working on ARM7 processor( using LPC2148). I'm using Dynamic power management for power management. In ARM7 there is a provision of two power control modes. First is idle and another is power down mode, along with this by using PCONP register we can control peripherals. I want programming for power down mode and peripheral control.
another part is fault tolerance I'm using standby sparing method for this. the basic architecture for my system is, there are three processors in system two LPC2148 and one AT89C51. I have implemented a small application ie. library assistance device. we have to enter a subject name it will show the subject section. this library is implemented on 89c51 as books are stored in LPC2148. These two processor communicate by serial communication. keyboard and LCD are attached to the 89c51 ie . we are giving input through 89c51 , the giving input is send to LPC2148 . LPC2148 will sort the books and send data to 89C51 and it will display the book. other part is fault tolerance. if fault occurred in 1st processor then 2nd LPC2148 will work. we have connected it in parallel with 89c51. along with this we have control power of this whole system for this system I want PCONP programming, fault tolerance programming and power down mode programing
